Mary Anne graduated with a BBA from Belmont University and began a career in corporate accounting culminating in over 20 years of work in the non-profit sector. After realizing that as much as she loved processes, she loved people more, Mary Anne focused her continued learning on helping people discover and name their life’s calling. In addition to becoming certified in more traditional coaching processes, Mary Anne completed a one-of-its-kind, master’s degree inside the maximum-security prison for women in Nashville, TN, where (among other things) she learned that a person committed to an integrated head, heart, and gut decreases anxiety in the world. She likes that idea so much, that she founded her practice on sharing those practices with others.

She now teaches inside the men’s maximum-security prison on a weekly basis. She is the co-founder of a ministry to the incarcerated and recently released. She believes all people can find freedom regardless of location or circumstance, and she’ll fight with you until you find it.

Mary Anne is a wife, and mother of two daughters who each gave her sons-in-law beyond compare. She has one grandson who calls her Jean. Yep, Jean.

If she runs away, it is to the mountains. However, she really loves living in her hometown of Franklin, TN, and perfecting her fruit tea recipe.
